Behaviour Modification

Resolving reactivity, anxiety, resource guarding and other unwanted habits at the root — not just papering over the symptoms.

Who This Is For

If walks have started to feel stressful, if guests trigger barking and lunging, if your dog can't settle in the house, or if you're losing confidence in what your dog might do next — this is the place to start.

  • Lead reactivity towards dogs, people, bikes or traffic
  • Anxiety, separation distress and hyper-arousal
  • Resource guarding — food, toys or people
  • Aggression towards other dogs or people
  • Persistent pulling, jumping or demand barking

The Approach

Behaviour modification starts with understanding what's actually driving the behaviour — not just suppressing the symptom. Each session begins with an honest assessment of the dog's state, history and environment.

From there, we build a structured protocol that addresses the trigger, changes the emotional response and installs new, reliable behaviours in its place. You'll leave each session with a clear, practical plan to continue at home.

Progress takes consistency. But with the right structure and a trainer who'll be honest with you about what it takes, real change is achievable — in most cases, faster than you'd expect.
